Hi thebag

Two very good sites in OR and love the designs too.

A very good idea in adding javascript for the forms 8)
will have to impliment that one.

Also http://listings.citilink.com.au/listingview.php?listingID=154

Great how you click on the image and they swope over and not move, when the image is a differant size. ( Not worked that one out yet )

Any more !!!!
Hope to see you here on more on OR

this One

if you only put in your name and press send

see what happens.

Do not play with it too much as I think this is a working model..

Ah OK I see Albert. If you use dreamweaver there is a behavior called "validate form" that does exactly the same thing.

By the way theBag these are 2 great looking sites!

By the way theBag these are 2 great looking sites!

I know it can be done with Dw thats great, but I want it to work with
OR.

OK example:

Add javascript in the user_top.html
/////

function checkData ()

{
if (document.signup.eventdate.value == "") {
alert("Please fill in your Event Date.")
document.signup.eventdate.focus()
return false}
if (document.signup.eventlocation.value == "") {
alert("Please fill in your Event Location.")
document.signup.eventlocation.focus()
return false}
if (document.signup.name.value == "") {
alert("Please fill in your Name.")
document.signup.name.focus()
return false}
if (document.signup.phonenumber.value == "") {
alert("Please fill in your Phone Number.")
document.signup.phonenumber.focus()
return false}
if (document.signup.email_from.value == "") {
alert("Please fill in your Email Address.")
document.signup.email_from.focus()
return false;

}

}
////

then you would also have to call the focus()
from the script.

So in listing View.php the form is called from the style.php
which means the code has to be added to style.php so it will work.

Then you have the Appointment Mod as well to do.

I just like it becouse you do not leave the page untill every thing
is filled out..

:P

Thanks for the great comments guys.

I didn`t realise this board was that popular :)

The form on Gail Florence is a simple validation script which you can grab from the source. Simple & effective.

Only other site I have used the OR that is worth showing is Colliers Residnetial.

http://www.colliersresidential.com

Due to clients request of certain aspects of this sitem it turned out a little messy in my opinion.

Currently have another in production and am looking at using the featured listing mod that I found on this board.

Thanks again people.
