My search page has no search options?

That is strange. Is this a standard install? If you go to Edit Listings Template when logged in as admin, are any of the fields identified as searchable?

I believe a default install begins with no fields marked as searchable. You have to go to the edit listings template and check the fields that you want to search by. Correct me if I am wrong....

You were both right! Is there a manual for this prigram?

I found the same situation, no searching options. I tried to add the option but hit a wall. There is some kind of instructions you have to enter in the ++step by step box or something. I'm a fast learner, but a slow "teach yourself / firgure it out yourself" kind of guy so I backed off for now.
