Hi all,

I'd be glad for any comments on http://www.property.livinginitaly.co.uk

Basically, i'm pretty happy with the overall look, now i'm just tidying up the coding. All comments / opinions very welcome though!

I'd also like to say that i've found the support from the forums invaluable, there basically wasn't a question i had that hadn't already had an answer!

Very, very impressed with the software, can't wait for v2, and, as the saying goes ...... "as soon as i make any money out of these projects ...." :)

Thanks again,

Tony

Hey Tony,

Very nice site...one of the top 20 I've seen.

The only thing missing was the mortgage calculator, printer friendly, and map.

Other than that, good job!

Thanks for your encouragement!

I have included the mortgage calculator, in the left column of 'listingview.php' (though i may have to relocate it seeing as though you didn't notice it!) The calculator itself needs a tidy up though. I just wish i could get the blasted thing to disappear on the 'rental' listings!

The other two ..

The printer friendly page, i couldn't get my head around part of the that, the code is still there, just <! marked out > till my head gets a little less muddled.

The maps, i really wish i could get this to work, unfortunatly i can't get Yahoo Maps Italia to work with the link (wish i was more fluent in Italian!)

Thanks again!

you can use mapporama (http://www.mapporama.com) in italy.
I use it for belgium (also no yahoo)

$yahoo_string = "$yahoo_address"; echo "http://www.maporama.com/share/map.asp?ADDRESS=&COUNTRYCODE=BE&_XgoGCAddress=$yah oo_address&Zip=$zip&State=09&_XgoGCTownName=$yahoo _city&quality=0&SEARCH_ADDRESS.x=0&SEARCH_ADDRESS. y=0";
I use this instead of the original yahoo string.

Hi Tony

I hade the same problem when I first started with OR. I just took it out. After a while when you look at other designs you see how it's done.

Let us know if you need any help
