Is there anyone out there that would be willing to create a template that matches my users existing site? I have all the image files and would be happy to give them up. The template would definately be a "free for all" once completed...I wouldn't ask to have sole rights to it!! :o)

If anyone is interested....or can point me to someone that is good at it and maybe get's bored on the weekends and could use a case of beer or two...that would be great! I've been trying to edit the template I have now...but one that matches more to what the site is already would be great!!

Clients existing website is... http://www.louisianadreamhome.com
OpenRealty is located at....
http://www.louisianadreamhome.com/OpenRealty/

It is not up and running yet for the world to see so there are no open access links to the OR from the louisianadreamhome.com web page!

Thanks in advance,
Carl

I really appreciate the work you did on the template...however when I loaded it to the site and changed the common.php file to point at it, it gave me a load of errors. Can you look at it and maybe tell me what it is that happened?

Thanks again,

You should only need to change the template line in the common.php file

Al,

I did that, and then realized the style.php file was missing. I copied that file from one of the other templates and you can see what it is doing now.

It looks as if the right side graphics are not correct....is that something I will need to adjust in the style.php file? (I know...I'm not that good at this stuff...so if so, where and how)

Thanks again Al!!

I do not see a style.php in Al's posting.

Al,

I grabbed the style.php file from one of the other templates. I was getting an error telling me that style.php was missing and that I needed that file in order to get things to display correctly.

Right now I'm having an issue changing the user_top.html file to take off "Open Realty 1....." from the title area of the page...I need it to say "Louisiana Dream Home Real Estate Group"...but everytime I take it out to replace it I lose the first image...I tried re-acquainting the image with it's source file but that still didn't work...I'm at work right now, so I don't have much time to play with it....(and the Marine Corps doesn't pay me to sit at my desk and work on my own personal stuff....USUALLY)...I'm going to try to mess around with it this evening....I'm just excited that this template looks so good!!

awd,

Thanks for uploading the style.php file. The site looks great. I'm actually trying to get the PManager program working with someone else from the board. I'll be using OR until then though...and it's looking great! Thanks again!

AWDDESIGN;
I love your work, pretty nice contributions to open-realty.
But I've always been curious about your site, and was wondering if you are using a blog application as your method of displaying templates?

I ask because your layout is clean and centered and I can see another use in my own projects featuring the same format.

Jared.

Hi Jarad

Im using CMSimple 2.4 - www.cmsimple.dk I was using rodin but had to change
due to content was getting too much.

tested cms last year and ceo is great, little tweeking still needs to be done for XHTML/ css but still very good.

You can see our Open Realty Zen Garden site we are working on at the moment
here:
http://openrealty.awddesign.co.uk/
launch will not be untill mid/end april 2005

Very Nice, thanks, I'll check that app out today; I've been doing a lot of theme stuff for another blog that seems to have some issues.

If I recall you plan to open the open-realty zen garden to developers like us.

That would be great. I can't wait to post a few layouts.

Jared.
