How THIS can be done?

I want to use OR for my travel wesite.For accomodations and cettera..
This is what I want...

I want to have on my site front page (not OR index.php) a search engine that will open OR results in his standard result page.It can be done with include function or it can be iframe solution.
If you have done something similar please post...

I think I can do by myself something simple, modified original OR simple search page with link to parent frame or just 2, 3 or 4 dropdown menus which will take by Submit button to an existing OR page...(like here http://www.webreference.com/dev/menus/intro2.html

This tehnique will improvise a real thing...a REAL search of rentals or listings on my home page.


Simple..I just want to add search engine to my index.php (not originaly OR) which will open a OR window with listings...

You can do this with or 1.x and not with 2.0.3

Now if we ask very very very very nicely we may have this for or 2.0.4

Search 2.0 about putting search for main/index page you will see a lot of
us are waiting for this to be done :)

Looks like I messed up writing the changelog. You can do this in 2.0.3, you are looking for the {templated_search_form} template tag. I pulled the 2.0.3 release do due a bug with the main java image. I have that fixed and am correcting some postgresql releated issues and will be posting 2.0.4 later today.
