I am new to Xoop and php nuke.
How do I removed all references to the automotive portion of OR?
I just want this to be a real estate site.

There is no need to double-post..
Are you already using Open-Realty? Open-Realty is a standalone application and not a part of XOOPS or PHP Nuke, and if you downloaded it here, it is already setup for handling real estate.

I dowloaded it as a xoop module. SO you tell me where I need to go for help.
As far as the double post, it got put in the wrong area I thought first so I reposted it in the right area.
So where do I go to get just the real estate ONLY code?

Sounds like the module you are using is using a really old version of OR. I don't think there is a current Xoops module for OR. You can either try to contact whoever created the module you are using or considering switching to MamboOR.

Yoiu should probably try getting support from where you downloaded your Xoops module, to my knowledge there is no such thing for Open-Realty v2.x.

This is what I have found: http://www.xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=37888&forum=30&post_id=218405#forumpost218405
I have tried to contact people that have the module installed, and the website of the people who made this mod. I haven't have any response yet.
Here is the file: http://www.behindzioncurtain.com/realty/realty3.zip
I was hoping that someone has found a way to remove the auto-section from this module?

Again, this forum is for support of open-realty 1.15 and higher. Not for support of an older or even a forked version. The version you are running is pre-1.15 and has been forked as a module for xoops. As the sandking and myself has already said, you need to contact whoever created this module for support.

I respect your policy on that and I won't ask for any assistance in this forum again for this particular problem.
The reason that I brought the question here is because I exhusted all other hope of finding the creator of this "fork".
The website of the person who wrote this (re-wrote), is no longer online.
I posted in the Xoops forums with no response.
So I have decided to drop this and move on. I hope that you understand where I am coming from. I posted my research in the last post that I left, which resulted in only frustration.
Take care, and thanks for replying.

I do understand but we can't really support a product that was not produced here and is not being used by anyone here.
I would also suggest trying the new version here incorporated with Joomla. There is a component available for Joomla and the integration is pretty nice.

I tried to integrate it with Joomla, but I must be very novice with such a CMS, because Joomla compared to Xoops was a disaster to try to change the layout/template. Working with Joomla caused me atleast a dozen new grey hairs to sprout out of my head.
Xoops is so much easier to work with (in my case), that I was desprately hoping to find someone more aquainted with this Xoops module.
All I really need is to be able to remove the links to the Automobile module from the Admin and the Front end.
If nothing else, this whole experience has encouraged me to make more time to learn code better.
Thanks again! My appreciation for Open-Source is overwhelming!
If I get this all figured out I will be overjoyed to contribute a small donation (im poor) to show my appreciation.
Take care!
