Image resize issue

When I manually upload images, I am getting an error for certain photos, usually ones taken while holding the camera vertically. The particular one I am currently having an issue with has a stock size of 1704x 2272

Upload Failed! This file is the wrong height
Max image height is: 500px

I have the settings set to resize by width, a very large file size limit, and
Max Image Width: 600 Maximum image width for listing images
Max Image height: 500 Maximum image height for listing images

What do I do to resolve this?

Latest on Open-Realty and MLS Intergration

I would like to intergrate MLS into my Open-Realty website. I currently have Open-Realty (version 2.5.8) running on my machine locally using the default template.

Once I can determine or obtain a solution for my version of Open-Realty to run with MLS, I will upload it to my web hosting server. Please can anyone help me out with this or give me a how-to that actually works?

Show listing between dates

I know you can show listing using the format
&listing_last_modified_less=2006-2-12

Does OR have a built-in way to show listing for a partucular month?

Let's say I want to show all listings in the months of August. Can this be done or do I need a addon?

Can I use Open Realty for other things?

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if I am allowed to modify open realty to be used as another type of directory/listing type site? (for example: a classified ad site or link type site, etc. not just a real estate site) I have no problem putting a footer on each page with credit to open realty. I realize that it is open source but I just want to check to make sure I am not doing anything illegal or wrong since this will require changing a lot of the code and language files.

Listing results showing all but feature ones and one class

Hi everybody!

I am trying to create a tag to show all Listings but one of the classes and no the feature ones.

Right now I am using the random listings tag, this one shows everything and I was unable to find a way to change that.

How to show map on listing page?

I still want the link on the left but I'd like to show a small map of the property on the right hand side. I tried to just insert the code from maps.inc.php and it just showed as text. oops.

I can see that it's already generating the map in the popup, but I'm not sure how to make one on the page.

I found a similar thread but it's from 2005 and has different code entirely so I think I need updated help. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. : )

Hi,

I've just downloaded my first OR website. Can you tell me how I edit my main page, I chose open reality lite as the template.

I've downloaded tinymce and then ftp'd it to my webspace (bluevoda) and extracted it to the open reality lite template file. But when I want to edit my main file I just don't know what to do to get the page to open in the tinymce editor.!!

Any ideas please.

Hiding agent info when not logged in...?

Hi,

I want to stop people from being able to contact the agent in any way if they're not logged in. I've messed with the restrictions you can put on agent template fields (i.e. viewable by Agent/Member/Admin etc) but the 'Contact Agent' link always appears either on the listing page or on the Agent details page if the visitor clicks through via the Agents name. This code is below:

{show_listed_by_admin_block}{lang_listed_by}: {listing_agent_first_n ame} {listing_agent_last_name} | {contact_agent_link}

I could remove all of this but then it wouldn't even be possible to see any of it when someone IS logged in.

How do I make this:

{listing_agent_first_n ame} {listing_agent_last_name}

or this:

{contact_agent_link}

only appear when someone is logged in.....?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Running second site off one database but only for one class and one town?

How would I go about using my main database to feed a second site? the second site will only contain listings specific to one class and one town. I am unsure how to go about this. Also, I need the second site to be independent of the first in order to allow for different agents to sign up on it. Does that make sense? Thank you.
