Get listing id for search result addon

I'm writing an addon that will display output for each listing in the search result loop.

It needs to access the listing id for each search result.

How do I access the listing id for each...

    Countstuff addon

    Time to contribute.

This may have been done before.

The countstuff addon is designed to count stuff :-)

At the moment it counts favorites and saved searches.

    Re: Next/Prev display trick

Well, a simple template tag would be more semantic (cleaner, more meaningful) than my CSS kludge.

    Re: Next/Prev display trick

Eduardo, I was going to write an addon that did the same thing, but putting it in core would be even better.

I asked about permission tags here...

    Next/Prev display trick

I noticed that even when there was only one page of search results, the next/prev pager was still being displayed. This looked a little silly so I looked at the conditional tags for that template and...

Re: Experts please review my addon

Oh, it works just fine, and yes, I've included a check with isset. Just needed to check if that was the correct way of grabbing the $_GET parameter in an addon.

    Experts please review my addon

Pretty basic, just grabs the name of the property class if available in the URL string.

What I'd like feedback on is if I'm handling the $_GET['pclass'] in the proper way. That is, is that the...

Re: Forgot Password Redirect to Admin Page

Yup, that's pretty obvious, I'm just saying that it's glaring for a non-admin to be dropped into a differently styled page when all the core need do is post a confirmation message back to the login...

Re: Forgot Password Redirect to Admin Page

    Ok.

So, what is the reasoning behind having a regular member redirected to an admin page? Am I missing something?
  13. Re: LogIn Form - Rewritten with semantics, accessibly & prettiness in mind

I didn't want to mess with the core, so I just did some nasty kludging of the CSS and added a custom DIV to wrap things via the php QUERY_STRING. I also used the language file to add some html tags...

    Unusual favorites error

This has got me scratching my head.

This is the url to view your favorites:

    .../index.php?action=view_favorites

This works perfectly. Favorites are displayed.

    But, for my template I've...

IMPORTANT!! Bug in this addon fixed.

    IMPORTANT!!

First, thanks for the essential little addon.

Now, it has a bug that was a bug in the core and is now, obviously, a bug in the addon.

This thread explains what the bug was:

Is there a template tag for user name?

I'd like to do a "Welcome back, Tom" type of thing :-)

    Ah!

    Working now.

    Thanks.
  20. Re: "Featured Listing Limit Hit. This listing was not marked as featured. "

Hmm, I've changed featured listings and agent featured listings to 9999 but still can't get the featured option to stick.

    Am I missing something?
  21. Re: "Featured Listing Limit Hit. This listing was not marked as featured. "

Well, that makes two of us!

Bug tracker says it's fixed. But I don't see any link to a patch.

    Help.
