    Default Navigation Bar Width

Where can I find the code for that naviagtion bar? The width of it is too wide for my template. I need to make it smaller.

    Please advise.

Regardless of the template, it should be in main.html or your css file.

Are you sure we are talking about the same thing?

I'm talking about the one visible after you do a search that will show the first previous, next, and last above the current listing in your search.

You should have specified that in your post. When I hear navigation bar I think the main nav/menu of the site. The next...prev bar is also editable through the css file. You'll be looking for the entries that start with .browse_tool

    Sorry.
To me that is the main menu. I come from the old bbs days when you were running either wildcat IV, or WWIV, or OPUS, or QuickBBS and could join FIDO-NET for mail, and such.

Hell, one of my favorite doorgames was tradewars.. OMG, I can't believe I actually remembered that. Yikes.. I'm dating myself.

So you can easily see how ingrained the MAIN MENU terminology is in me.

Ahh we are still not talking about the same nav bar, but we are getting closer.

OK, after you get the search results ther is a nav bar next prev at the top. That one is NOT the one I'm talking about. Click on one of the individual listings asfter the search, and you'l get YET another NAV BAR. This one IS the NAV Bar I'm talking about.

Maybe we'll call it the NAV NAV NAV BAR because it's 3 navbar layers deep.

You also may not have it unless you've enabled it in the config under listings.

I know which one you're talking about, I added it to the code. That one is controlled by the next_prev_listing settings in the css file.

Ohh lordy... there I go again running into something new.

I know that width is measured in pixels and percentage, so what the heck is '40em' supposed to mean?

    40newfangledElectronicMeasuringunit ?
40thEleMent ? The new bruce willis sequel to the 5th element.
40ElMo ? This time he's gray and his shakes are due to the seizures he gets if you don't give him his pill every hour.

I googled what I could and found these definitions, but no examples, or syntax definitions:
    http://www.w3schools.com/css/pr_dim_width.asp
    http://www.cssbasics.com/chapter_15_...th_height.html

em=one em is equal to the current font size of the current element

In css sizes can be in pixels, percentages, or em's. Just change it to whatever you are comfortable with.
