    It occurred to me that, when discussing an idea elsewhere, some of you may encounter the question of spam and handling it either yourselves or on behalf of your clients. So I thought that I should make available two ideas [not mine] that people who design sites use

    The first very simple is to code the arobus to stop the electronic harvesting as they are looking for @ eg:

    foxyweb&#64world-ok.com

    and the second is with some java:

    [SCRIPT TYPE="text/javascript"]
    [!--
    emailE=('info@' + 'domain.com')
    document.write('[A href="mailto:' + emailE + '"]' + emailE + '[/a]')

    //--]
    [/SCRIPT]

    Hope you find this interesting
    Ciao

    foxyweb&#64world-ok.com
    This method should be easily hardcoded to the source to protect email information when emails are pulled from the database.
