Slideshow captions and descriptions

I'm trying the standard slideshow and input a few captions and descriptions, but they don't show up. I'm importing data via the IDX Manager, and can add captions to images that will carry over when the list is refreshed, but there doesn't seem to be any way to display them. Is this correct?
