Addon Name: Language Filter, by alsmith & dougvaughan. Addon Description: This addon enables language filtering on the listing page. It will probably work for search_results as well, but has not been tested.
There are several options with this. line 11 contains the banned word list. if you comment out line 11 and uncomment line 12, you can create and use a separate text file containing the banned words.
If you want the curse words replaced by "*", then add them to line 118 between the empty quotes. Otherwise, use as is.
tag is {addon_langfilter_FIELDNAME}. i.e. for full description in listing detail, use {addon_langfilter_ful_desc}. This will provide the full listing desc, but filter out words of your choice. Insert the field_name of your choice. How can this be used? On OR demo sites of course! When people attempt to spam with foul language, the language filter addon deals with the problem!
There is another usage though. If you are using agent sites configured to pull listing data from a central database, but you want to remove contact info that other agents have placed in the listing description, this is your solution. You would want to leave the obligitory "listed by: agent_name", and remember, this is not a problem faced by many, but i felt i should at least mention it. for clarification, pm me.
