    Default IE6 bug with listing details

    Hey everyone, having another small problem that I can't seem to figure out. It's a browser compatibility issue with internet explorer 6. Though the CSS looks fine through firefox and later versions of the internet, I still desperately need this to work in IE6. Suggestions, ideas? Anything would help a lot, thanks.

    The problem, that you can't actually see, is that everything is being pushed down on the website. Way way down.

    I added some pictures along with it to give you a better idea of my problem.

    This is what you see in IE7, 8 or Firefox.

    This is what you see in internet explorer 6.

    Panasonick,

    If you are using floats you have to declare a width to work in IE6. after that width you will need to put !important
    Code:
    .left_float {
    width:500px;!important
    float:left;
    }
    Also if you are using floats you will need to make sure not to have a clear attribute set. You will also need to remember if have a float:right it will need to be in the code before the left float.

    Code:
    <div style="float:right;">RIGHT FLOAT HERE</div>
    <div style="float:left;">LEFT FLOAT HERE</div>
    This is why we should all upgrade to IE7, better yet not use IE at all!
    Hope this helps

    I understand that 77% of all internet users use IE, I was just being cynical. You MUST develop and design for IE it just stinks that they can't keep up with browser technology.

    It was just a poke, that's all, no offense intended ebmarques.
