    Default looking for a better editor for 'text area' field

    when adding free text in 'full description' field the text is in simple text form: no line spaces, no numbering/bullets, etc. - see what i mean here: http://www.reiedge.com/index.php?act...ew&listingID=2

    any suggestion how to make the text appear more readable/dressed up?
    thanks

    Well...use html basically. Take your pick from <br /> (line spaces) <or> Numbering and <ul><li> (bullets) etc.

    This might be the place to mention that I found this today, and am thinking about integrating it:

    in admin/main.html add this:

    Code:
    <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">
    tinyMCE.init({
    mode : "textareas",
    theme : "advanced",
    width : "400",
    height: "250"
    });
    </script>
    download the tinymce editor from the download page here and install:

    works great.

    There is also a Xinha add-on for Firefox that will allow you to use Xinha on any textarea form on any web page.
