Question Page Editor HTTP 500 error

Installation went smoothly. All components installed fine, site comes up at with no problem. However, logged in as administrator, I open the Page Editor, which opens fine and displays the FckEditor.

At this point I choose, from the drop-down at the top, any of the pages to modify. For example, I pick the Welcome page, and hit the Edit Page button.

At this point, I go straight to an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error.

I am running the site on my own in-house server, running Windows 2003 and IIS6. I have PHP v5.2.8 and MySQL v5.1 both installed and working fine for other applications.

Any ideas what could be causing the problem?

See my response to your other thread here:

The page editors also require PHP Multibyte String Support, and if you have PHP's error_reporting turned down or suppressed you won't see PHP complain about missing mb_string functions except in your server error logs.
