    Default Where to change form title appearance length?

    It used to be in IN INCLUDE/LISTING_EDITOR_INC.PHP AROUND 386 but since newer versions the setting is no longer there. Thanks for your help

    Do you mean the text "Title", set as the PHP variable:
    PHP Code:
    $lang['admin_listings_editor_title'
    If yes... you need to modify your language file. Look for:
    PHP Code:
    $lang['admin_listings_editor_title'] = "Title"

    Well, the title field is too short and agents tend to only put in a few words. I'd like to extend the title field so that agents are encouraged to type in longer titles for better SEO

    At the source code of your edit listing page you may see:
    HTML Code:
    <table class="form_main">
    <tr>
    <td align="right" class="row_main"><b>Title<span class="required">*</span></b></td>
    <td align="left" class="row_main"> <input type="text" name="title" /></td>
    ...
    Can't you just set your stylesheet, for example:
    Code:
    td.row_main input {width:150px;}

    This worked, kind of, but it brakes other fields as apparently row_main is used in other places. I guess I had the answer in my original post, so I added the size="60" at:
    $display .= '<td align="left"> <input type="text" size="60" name="title" in two places on listing_editor.inc.php
    just like it was in previous versions. I just thought the developers may have turned this into an adjustable setting....

    Thanks for your help

    You can also open a Feature Request, so we can add a "class name" to that "input" - this way it could be modified only by CSS.
