Hmm, I've changed featured listings and agent featured listings to 9999 but still can't get the featured option to stick.

    Am I missing something?

The blog system was noted that it is brand new and may have issues.

We are aware of the issues as we have fixed them and there will likely be a new version before too long but we wanted to make sure we had time to let as many bug reports come in as possible before doing a release so we don't have to do another release right away for other issues that did not get reported.

The featured listings limit is set in 2 places.

One in the control panel and one for each Agent.

if you had the control panel set for -1 every Agent you created while it was -1 would have -1 for their Agent specific setting.

Once you change it in the control panel every new Agent will use the new value, but you must change your existing Agents manually.

@SK haha Yes I suppose you're right, I think I was rounding up decimals in my head and thinking that 2.5.8 was a "major" release. There's always 2.5.7.1?

@Mick, Yes I realised the blog was very new, but I thought it would be popular and people might jump "willy-nilly" into the svn to get it fixed haha. I have noticed a couple of issues with 2.5.7, I really must remember to file the bug reports, one was quite a "fatal" one when adding new agents. I will try to reproduce it now. Thanks as always for the hard work Mick.

Sorry, please can you clarify which places I need to set this value?

In OR admin area (Site Config) I set the number of Featured Listings to 1000.

I then edited the admin account (User Manager) to allow 1000 Featured Listings.

I still cannot have more than one featured listing though. I still receive the error:

"Listing Number 2 has been updated.

Featured Listing Limit Hit. This listing was not marked as featured."

Please, for goodness sake will someone support me?

I have set a limit of 1000 listings in:

In OR admin area (Site Config)
In the Joomla Control Panel (mod_cmsrealty_featured / Module parameters)
I then edited the admin account (User Manager) to allow 1000 Featured Listings.

I still get the error though.

The bug tracker says "fixed" (in version 2.5.8) but this is not yet released. In this forum thread a workaround is mentioned but clearly I need a nudge in the right direction.

    Please could someone reply?
