imghighslide addon - IE8 / gallery

Hi there

This is a great addon. One or two issues though...

- I noticed some people complaining about IE 8 compatibility - I tested in many browsers, and IE 8 seems to be the only one with a problem. For me the images will not close. Is there a fix yet?
- Is it possible to use the gallery version of highslide with this addon? I tried referring to highslide-with-gallery.js instead of highslide.js in the addon.inc.php file, but I guess it's not that simple?

It is O-R v.2.5.8 with the old imghighslide add-on (version 1.0)
At least to me it is working just fine with IE, FF and Safari.

Yes your link is working fine for me in FF/Chrome/IE8/Safari.

Before including the js link in main.html, highslide was working perfectly in all browsers apart from IE8.

I have managed to get it working in IE8 by including the js link to highslide.js within main.html file. The only issue now is that the top icons are missing but at least it closes, first time!

Thanks for the tip on adding the js to the main.html. This worked for me as well. Good for a temp fix, but it would be nice to know why the nav buttons are now missing.

I have not inserted any JS code at the "main.html" template file!

I assume... you guys are missing a REQUIRED tag at your "main.html" file: {load_js} - this tag MUST be above the </head>
Another one... {load_js_last} must be right before </body>

The "nav buttons"... I see nothing missing at the link posted above.

Interesting... your link does appear to work correctly in IE8 with all the nav buttons.

I checked my main.html template and it does contain the {load_js} and {load_js_last} tags in those places. Strange that this addon was working until IE8. I thought maybe one of my other js files might be the problem but upon removing all of them and testing, this issue with highslide still remains.
