Default step by for min/max search Problems

After searching I don't see anyone experiencing a similar problem...

Have a site with about 6000 listings, the most expensive listing is just under $4,000,000. The step by for the Price is set at $50,000 and the min/max steps are set at 100.

The site has been running fine until this weekend when things got strange...
for some unknown reason the step by Price search jumps from $0 to $9,977,770 in one step.... and it shows a max list value of $997,777,000.

No recent changes other than adding new listings, but not one with that high of a price... and searching up the price range does not return anything higher than $4,000,000...

Anyone else encounter anything like this???

    All help appreciated.

What are the prices for the lowest and highest priced listings you have?

    Thanks for the reply TSK...

There were no listings with a Price of higher than $4,000,000.
However, knowing that there had to be something triggering this, I had pulled my hair out checking all the active listings... (notice I said checking the active listings)

It turns out that someone entered a test listing into the mls at $997,777,000 which got picked up when my import job ran on Friday morning... and of course since it was a test listing, they later changed the status to kill it which means my next import also changed the status showing it as inactive on my OR site...

Sorry for troubling you, I just didn't suspect/think to look at the inactive listings... I'll know better next time.
