Default Working with OR mysql tables and regular table

I have a huge dilemma. Our association requires us to show the listing office name on all listing pages. Unfortunately, my association splits office data and listing data into separate databases on the RETS server. Whenever my nightly cron downloads all listing data, the field that's mapped to "Listing Office" is the "Listing Office ID" (example of id: BREP).

Now, I was able to upload a comma seperated file into mySQL and produce a table that has the Listing Office ID and Listing Office Name on each row. How can I go about displaying the Listing Office Name now? Since the template files aren't PHP I don't have access to push PHP statements to do what I need.

Your help would be GREATLY appreciated on this.

Why not build an add-on that includes your own custom template tag to replace the field containing the ID. This tag would pull data from your custom table.

Also, Open-Realty templates are all XHTML, and you can definitely embed PHP into them. This is covered in the template docs.

also, an old way is to make images (firstofficeID.gif, secondofficeID.gif) and than call images using office IDs in template.
