Question Problem with image upload with FCK editor

This is error_log that my host sent me:

    [Fri Jul 02 02:23:36 2010] [error] [client 93.139.67.43] Attempt to serve directory: /home/site/public_html/include/class/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/browser/open-realty/, referer: http://ww w.site.com/include/class/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/browser/open-realty/frmupload.html

When I try to upload image to insert into page, it simply don't upload it.

I have this problem in all sites running 2.5.8.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I don't think that error is going to be related to problems uploading. It just means that apache tried to serve that directory to something/someone but that directory isn't accessible. Putting an index.html file in the directory should get rid of the error in the logs but wouldn't fix your problem. Are all these sites on the same server/host? Can you email me a copy of FCKEditor that you are using as its not available for download anymore and I'm not at home this week to use it on my local system. Can you confirm that it was the lastest version of FCKEditor (downloaded sometime in the last 5-6 months I think) mick 1152 at gmail dotcom.

I think that I had newest version on FCK editor, but I reupload the version from http://open-realty.org/release/. It should be newest version.

I tried to upload images in different browsers, so I manage to upload it with IE8. In Firefox and Chrome it don't work.

When I try to upload image it says:
"Upload a new file in this folder (Upload in progress, please wait...)"

    And nothing happens. :(

In IE it changea the folder to upload. First it uploaded images to images/page_upload/1/Images/ - then when I closed IE and open it again it uploaded images then to images/page_upload/null/images

In Firefox when I clicked to add images from server, it didn't list images already uploaded in that folder. It seems that something blocks Firefox to upload images... I have same problem in Google Chrome.

I tested upload in IE8 a bit more and it works perfectly.

Firefox and Chrome still no changes. I also changes folder images/page_upload/null/ from 755 to 777 but no changes.

    I'm running FF 3.6.6. and Chrome 5.0.375.99.

when I upgraded my Firefox to 3.5 the CMS I use and authored that uses FCK editor stopped working on file upload in firefox the only fix was to goto to http://ckeditor.com/ and get the latest version.... there is something in FF 3.5++ that breaks image uploads via ck editer this was true for CKFinder uploads and normal CK Editor uploads
