Default Insert Image Link onto main.html

I'm presumed I could modify main.html and add my facebook/twitter image links to the syndication box, but their images don't show up, and they are in the /images folder under the template I'm using in the proper location, is there something I'm missing?

You probably are using the wrong URL to your image. A good way to check is to view the source of your page in your browser and then copy the URL that is there into your browser. If that does not display just your image, the path is bad.

You can also use a template tag to get the URL right every time:

    Code:
    {template_url}/images/your_image.jpg

You don't necessarily need it if you hard code the correct URL, the template tag just makes short work of that.

You cannot edit template tags. {template_url} is automatically populated by OR with the full URL to the template folder you are presently using. Change to another template in Site Config and the tag will automatically update to reference that folder.

Gotcha, I haven't modified things with OR since a 2.* version I implemented a couple years back, I remember being able to edit the language files to change the wording of things, is that functionality still the same?

Yes, language vars are still definable. Most of the same template tags in v3.x were also available in v2.x
