Default Pulling agent's email address to listing page

How does one simply put the e-mail address of the listing agent on the listing page?

Doing this is a very bad idea as it exposes your Agent email addresses to SPAM bots. That's why there isn't a tag to do it already.

Create a new Agent field using a field name of 'my_agent_email' or similar.

Edit your Agent(s) and enter an email address in your newly created Agent email field, one you won't mind if it receives SPAM.

Place the template tag: {listing_agent_field_my_agent_email} in your listing detail template.

There already is one built in, it's called the Lead Manager

That's probably not going to happen because of the present and future integrated lead tracking systems. To track an individual and what they are doing, they have to be registered in some fashion. No matter if you create a member account for them or not, you have to capture their email address and name at least so you can respond, and that's 9/10ths of becoming a member already.

You can always use one of the many, many free PHP contact form scripts out there, but you are still going to have to ask visitors for pretty much the same info.
