Default I think i have css issues

Content is being pushed down below left navigation in ie8 and maybe more dont know
    http://www.thefleamarkets.com/direct...a-markets.html

I need help fixing this i dont even know where to start in a panic because i am getting emails from agents saying their listing is not up but it is you just have to scroll way down to see search results.

I will pay for a fix, not even sure if it is css related, if the page looks fine to you then your browser is immune to this problem.

Basically all content on right is being pushed below left navigation

Only happening on pages with search results it looks like not pages created in page editor so maybe my css file is fine. what could be causing this?
Not happening on listing detail pages either just pages with search results. omg im freaking out. site looks empty when you go to those search result pages.

    69 HTML validation errors

You should validate your CSS too.

Very hard to find errors considering that is a page created by the page editor. does that mean all those errors are in the main.html in template folder?
Also Where can i find someone to help me with all those errors since i know not much about css. or at least someone to tell me wich of those 67 errors to fix to at least fix my problem. all the other pages are working fine just the page with search results is acting weird.

Maybe ive gone stupid in the last few days but how is this not valid, it says
    Line 203, column 63: there is no attribute "target"…tp://www.fleamarketjunction.net" target="_blank">Questions and Answers</a></li>

On a lighter side i have fixed 2 errors out of 69 that were obvious but im at a lost for the rest

Default other errors not controlled by me

Line 522, column 35: character "&" is the first character of a delimiter but occurred as data
    <p><a href="listing/holy-hill-art-&-farm-market.html" title="Holy Hill Art & Fa…

That's from an agent using the & in their title when posting a listing how do i fix that?

There is a paid work forum here.

When debugging, you can usually ignore the warnings, but the errors, not so much. In valid XHTML, ampersands are entered using "&amp;" and not just "&", but this type of an error is a logic issue, and not a design problem so solving it won't fix your layout problem, but it will reduce the number of warnings a lot.

Which error do you think is messing with me Mr Sandking I need to get this fixed before paying someone id like to learn how to fix it
this is only happening for people using ie 7 and 8

Why are all other pages generated by the page editor not doing this? its using the same main template and same css file.

    one of the warnings is
No Character Encoding Found! Falling back to UTF-8.

None of the standards sources gave any information on the character encoding labeling for this document. Without encoding information it is impossible to reliably validate the document. As a fallback solution, the "UTF-8" encoding was used to read the content and attempt to perform the validation, but this is likely to fail for all non-trivial documents.

but in main.html i see this
    <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset={charset}" />

OMG now it doesnt work in ie9 either and i didnt do anything, this sucks

You have lost me.. The search results page is not managed or editable via the Page Editor, only Page Editor pages are. Any changes made to the search result page would have to be done to one of the 3 available search_results template files.

OR's default search results templates validate for XHTML strict.
