    Bill,
    Thank you so much for trying to help

    I un- commented print_r($values). And unfortunately only "Array ( )" was dispalyed at the top of the page with no values.

    I reuploaded all the file as well as recreate the mySQL database. I also signed up for a new account at weather.com

    I looked at the mySQL database using myphpadmin after running the script and there was a field with all the current weather conditions

    Below is the short print view

    SQL result

    Host: localhost
    Database : weather2
    Generation Time: Apr 02, 2005 at 04:14 PM
    Generated by: phpMyAdmin 2.5.4
    SQL-query: SELECT * FROM `weather_xml` LIMIT 0, 30;

    xml_url

    xml_data
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>

    The expanded print view did display the detailed weather conditions.
    So i would think that it is not, and correct me if im wrong, not a problem connecting to weather.com

    I might as well ask too. I do not have the Open Reality software installed. This is the only mod I have. I just want to double check that the open realty software isn't need to run this.

    Thanks again for the help

    Default bad weather

    Harris...hmm not sure what's going on, you're right you are making a connection. As to if you need OR to run the weather page - no. You can actually just cut and paste line 7 from weather.php in your web browser and it should work. Here is mine:
    http://www.queball.info/realty/weath...5045&length=10

    For s & g's can you put the following lines in your weather_xml.php file just below '$forecast_url = "http://xoap.we...'
    (my line 25)

    echo $search_url."<br>";
    echo $forecast_url."<br>";

    Then run it again. The second URL that it displays on the page is a link to the xml code that the program parses and displays neatly. You can actually cut and paste that link in your browser to see the xml. It's worth trying as you will know if you are getting that far.

    I added the code in. It displays the following URLs

    http://xoap.weather.com/search/search?where=
    http://xoap.weather.com/weather/loca...c114a244a84036

    Should the first one be blank like that?

    I'm gonna try playing around with the code again later on to see if I can find anything else.

    Thanks again

    Harris
