ok im just getting started with this, I have the flash banner as user_top.html

I have the footer at user_bottom.html

I have made the left hand side display featured listings. I will also design a menu for the left hand side when not on the home page.

http://www.scalea-property.com/it/index.php you can see my progress here. I am working long hours at the moment so it will take me a while.

    Anyway ill keep you posted

    Hi calmpitbull

Its starting to look promising....Just to let you know I have the fla file for the top flash so that can also be edited to suit...

Do you think it would be possible to resize the featured properties thumbs and text, to allow 4 properties??...

Also bottom right..could this be used for latest listing?

    Excellent Job.

I don't think we can have more than 3 featured listing in the left column, Otherwise the thumbs would br unrecognisable.

The flash banner can be sorted afterwards, I know nothing about flash, in fact I hate it, but it does look nice on this template.

Im sure the bottom right could be used for the latest listing.

The next thing I want to do Is sort out listing view and listing browse pages. I think for this I will remove the right hand and middle graphics altogether to give me enough width to make the listing browse look ok.

    have a look http://www.scalea-property.com/it/listingbrowse.html

(I still need to remove the remains of the palm tree from the graphic)

Do you think its best to just show 3 properties per page, or would you prefer 10 per page but with a scroll bar?

I personally would like to see between 10 and 20 properties per page due to the amount of listings I have. I think a scroll bar would be the best option in my case.

Going back to the front page. Is it possible to add some sort of "quick search" Ie Type, Beds and price?

Its looking very cool at the moment.

Ok I have converted the template to CSS, I HATE tables for layout. Now the only tabled stuff is the or code itself, I wouldnt know where to begin putting the OR content into CSS. So I now have the header, left hand menu/featured properties and footer as CSS divs. It took some jigging around to look right on both IE and FF.

I will now begin making OR to fit inside the template, this is easier said than done as the template window is very small. I think some scroll bars are in order! Unless anyone has any suggestions http://www.scalea-property.com/it/

    Ciao for now, David
