    Default Customising categories

    Hi,

I now have OR installed and looking great, now I have another problem that I have to deal with.

Basically instead of listing Home, Farm and commercial etc I have changed the template to show the wording I require - my question is though, where do I start looking so the old Home listings button when clicked shows my listings under Hard Corals?? In other words what bits do I need to change to find the right categories?

    cheers

Look at the links for the buttons. You need to change the 'type' value to what you want. Example:

    Change
    <li><a href="{baseurl}/index.php?action=searchresults&amp;type=Home" title="Homes">Homes</a></li>

    to
    <li><a href="{baseurl}/index.php?action=searchresults&amp;type=Hard Corals" title="Hard Corals">Hard Corals</a></li>

Just one more thing though, for some reason there does not seem to be a ' new listing' area so my agents can add their own. Is this something that needs to be turned on somewhere?

Listings are added through the admin page.

So for my agents to add a listing they have to click the edit button on the bottom of the page and choose admin from there? Or is there a way to add an easier way - such as an add listings link etc

    cheers

You could create a link to admin/index.php?action=add_listing or just to admin/index.php. I would suggest just to admin/index.php so you don't need addtional links for them to edit their listings or account info.

Also, agents shouldn't have the 'edit' link on the bottom of the pages unless you gave them authority to edit pages.

    Thanks again,

I am not sure why the EDIT link is showing in that case, I signed in as an agent account I setup and it was there although it showed that permission was denied in all areas apart from the listings page and member details.

    cheers
